A mean and nasty little punk chick manages a group of hookers that are getting picked off by a sicko serial rapist who can only view his victims through the lens of his video camera and who inevitably kills them by punching through their hearts with a chisel. The chisel serves as some kind of fetish device/penis extension and is lovingly sharpened and caressed by the killer throughout the movie.

The Beautiful Target herself gets raped by the guy pretty early on in a prolonged and uncomfortable scene that is quite effective, being that it is viewed almost entirely from the killers 'video perspective'. She is saved from death by the entrance of the mean, nasty pimp chick who agrees to help find the killer and so they form an uneasy alliance.

The rest of the story is your basic police procedural with a few twists. The world weary detective who is working the case seems to have an unrequited love for the forensic heroine, no doubt from watching her slice up all those bodies, and she seems somewhat receptive to his advances, but not so much that she can't take time out for a hot lesbian throwdown with the little pimp gal also.

Everything builds to an exciting climax inevitably pitting the Beautiful Target against the nasty, chisel wielding rapist. Will she escape his evil clutches? Will she spurn the advances of the weary detective in favor of the hot little lesbian ferret or will he be invited to participate in a smokin' three-way? I'll never tell. As with other films in the 'Beautiful' series, there are just enough odd touches and details to raise this a little bit above the standard erotic thriller. Definitely worth a look.

Her keeper is a lascivious salary man type who secretly loves her and demonstrates his affection by licking her legs and generally slobbering all over her. He works for an oversexed old Yakuza straight out of a Takashi Miike movie, who is constantly fornicating even as he fires directives at his minions.

In addition to the blind girl, other assassins in their employ include a sadistic young man who owns a coffee shop and kills his victims by electrocuting them with a tazer and sprinkling ants into their ears when they're dead. There is also the wizened old hit man, who is a drunk and a piano player in a cocktail lounge with weird, hand painted tiles all over the walls.

For some reason, not fully explained, the salary man decides to pit his assassins against each other, which makes for some nice long sex scenes and endless shots of a giant gourami in a fish tank striking at goldfish and gobbling them down whole.

I won't spoil the ending but suffice to say the whole thing definitely has a 'Miike-lite' feel to it and has enough quirks and kinks to be entertaining. Definitely the Japanese equivalent to those 'After Dark' movies the pay channels show in lieu of porno, but much more entertaining.
