Street Fighter (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts This movie sucks. No decent fights, or action scenes. just awful over-acting and stupid dialogue. The pits!
Friday The 13th Part 2 (product link) Horror / Thriller This is a crappy slasher movie with poor acting, bad plotting, below par makeup effects, and it is as scary as an episode of "Murder She Wrote". Definitely a lesser entry in the "Friday The 13th Series". And Jason doesn't even wear his trademark hockey mask and doesn't bulk up until the next one.
Howard The Duck (product link) Comedy / Action/Adventure This movie is boring, silly, stupid, and the only good thing in it is the spetacular stop-motion effects in the end.

This was probably the biggest disappointment of films I actually paid to watch. It is truly dreadful. As for the running time, PAL is mastered at a greater speed than other formats, compressing running time and slightly speeding action and dialogue.
hang on folks...this movie was made in the wonderful 80's...HTD is AWESOME and could quite possibly be the ET for big kids...let's not forget that Lea is HOT. Thanks, Regi
Don't Give A Damn [3-Disc Set] (product link) Action/Adventure / Comedy A movie starring Sammo, Yuen and Kaneshiro should be great, but this really is not. Yuen comes of best with a few good moves. The plot is tired and stupid. Give this movie a miss.
5-Pattern Dragon Claws (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Some cool fights are the only virtue in this typical Godfrey Ho patchwork. Only for Hwang Jang Lee and Dragon Lee completists.
Phantom Of The Opera (product link) Horror / Drama This is by far the worst Argento film I have seen. It is slow, boring and silly. Yes it stylish and gory, as any Argento film is, but did it have to be this boring? Only for Argento completists.
Zombie Strippers (product link) Horror / Dark Comedy This movie is crap. Most of the time is spent on stripping and not enough on zombies. Very poorly made and horrendous acting and dialogue. Good looking girls with huge knockers is all this movie has to offer.

I definitely have to disagree. The dialog in this film is actually really good, but you do have to make an effort to overlook the poor production values to enjoy it, which may be easier said than done.
Planet Of The Apes [2001] (product link) Science Fiction / Action/Adventure Burton's worst movie. Great set design and Tim Roth as the main villain is amazing. But the action scenes are subpar (I don't think Burton is much of an action-director, just watch "Batman"!) and the story moves slowly and is pretty boring, with a lot of scenes you could do without. The ending is downright silly. Danny Elfman's score is good though. Wahlberg doesn't quite cut it as a leading man.

The movie was all right, I wasn't bored for the 2 hours or so. I loved the orginal with Charleston Heston this why just pokes fun of the version. I got what I paid for though actors acting like apes is too damn priceless.
Tiger Over Wall [3-Disc Set] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This is crap. And there is not nearly enough of bootman Hwang Jang Lee. Only if you need all movies starring Hwang Jang Lee.
Circus Kids [DOUBLE FEATURE] (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts This movie stars Donnie Yen, Yuen Biao and superkicker Ken Lo (of "Drunken Master 2" fame). It should be great, but it really isn't. Poor production values, bad editing and an incoherent plot make this a big dud. Even the fighting is bad, and all too short. This film is crap. Avoid.
The Legendary Strike (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Crap movie and mediocre fighting, except for Casanova Wong, who is superb, but underused.
The Chinese Stuntman (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts Another typical Bruce Li exploitation kung fu flick. Crappy acting, editing, and only mediocre kung fu.
Showdown At The Cotton Mill (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure A pretty standard 70s kung fu flick, and the movie could definitely use more of super kicker Tan Tao Liang, who shines in every fight scene he is in.
Stoner (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Sleazy beginning of the 70s kung fu movie starring Angela Mao (great) and one-time Bond George Lazenby. The movie is dark and has too many night scenes and not enough Whong In-Sik. Sammo Hung apears as a heavy and was the action director on the movie.
Trauma [1993] (product link) Horror / Thriller A lesser Argento movie for sure. His American movies lacked the freshness and style of his Italian ones. Not really scary or interesting. See this if you can't get enough Argento.
The Stendhal Syndrome (product link) Horror / Thriller A lesser Argento giallo. It is pretty boring and silly and lacks some of the director's visual flair. See this if you are a great Argento fan.
Black Sheep (product link) Horror / Dark Comedy Some funny moments, a little gore, and beautiful scenery. But hardly a classic. It's a bit slow at times and lacks some interesting ideas.

The movie was cheesey but it was watchable cheese. The special effects from WETA were fantastic though, I didn't think it was slow either. But "Black Sheep" is a cult movie, with a huge fan base.
Aww, I'm bummed you didn't like it more. I was very pleasantly surprised by how fun this film was. I really enjoyed it even though I expected to hate it.
The Eight Escorts (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure A pretty bad kung fu movie. It's slow and the fights are sloppy. Only bootmaster Tan Tao Leung shows some great legwork, but there is not enough of him.
The Bone Collector (product link) Mystery / Thriller A mediocre movie which starts off okay but rapidly gets more and more silly. Not enough action or scares in this run of the mill thriller.

The movie was too silly to be smart but it is what it is a cheap thriller with big name stars- I think it did all right in theaters. I found it just plain silly.
The Zombie Diaries (product link) Horror / Thriller This zombie movie is filmed as a documentary, like the far superior Romero flick "Diary Of The Dead". It is very low budget and could really use some more action.

Compared to the Romero's "Diary of the Dead" this film just fails.
The Secret Of The Shaolin Poles (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Not a sequel to "Incredible Leg Fighters", also starring Delon Tam. No this is an average kung fu flick and Delon Tan doesn't really fight with his legs in this (shame). Not bad, just nothing special.
Hero Of The Time [4-Movie Set] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Tan Tao is amazing and kicks like a son of a bitch. But the film itself is crap, and when he is not doing his taekwondo kicking it's simply dull. If you want to see Tan Tao Liang at his best then watch "Leg Fighters" instead.
Filthy Guy (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure The only good thing about this movie is Sammo, and he is good and does a lot of flips and kicks. But the movie is badly directed and contrived. Sammo is so much better than this movie and he is the reason it gets 2 stars.
A Fistful Of Talons [9-Movie Set] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Overrated Billy Chong movie with not enough Whang In Sik. Great kung fu, but poorly edited.
Friday The 13th Part 3 (product link) Horror / Thriller Better pacing than the second instalment of "Friday The 13th" but still only a mediocre slasher flick, with only a few scares and some laugh-out-loud special effects (the headcrushing scene when the eye pops out). As it turns, it's out one of the best in the series--only parts 1 and 4 are better.
Doomsday (product link) Science Fiction / Action/Adventure This movie should have been good, but it isn't. It is a bad rip-off of "Escape From New York" and countless other movies.
Resident Evil: Extinction (product link) Action/Adventure / Science Fiction Better action scenes than the rest of the series, and more gore. But same lame dialogue and almost no scares.
Struggle Through Death (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure A lesser John Liu movie--sloppy and slow-moving with not enough fighting in it. If you want to see John Liu at his best, watch the "Secret Rivals" movies.
