I give this movie 2 stars. The use of the supernatural in this movie was terrible. If you die and return, your kung fu should be invincible. In this movie that was not the case. This was not a good movie, simple as that.

I rate "The Brave Archer" 4 stars because of the top-tier actors in this film. The story is okay, but there need to be more fight scenes throughout the movie. Fu Sheng was good.

If you are a Gordon Liu fan you will love this movie. I especially like how it shows the difference between Japanese and Chinese martial arts; also the difference between the two cultures. The overall movie is good and I like the storyline as well.

This movie was really slow in the beginning but ended well. The Venoms make this movie worth having, not their best performance, but an essential addition for any collector.

In this three-DVD set you definitely get more bang for your buck. Usually 1 or 2 of the movies in disc sets are good but all three were excellent, that is if you are a real kung fu fan.
