Martial Arts / Action/Adventure

"Ip Man" was a boring story loosely held together with uninteresting dialog and antagonists. I found myself fast-forwarding in order to watch the next fight scenes, which were quite good. Most of the characters acted wooden, leaving Donnie to hold this picture together.

This is one of the better martial arts films I have seen. Yes the screenplay is corny but the training and fighting choreography is top notch, which made up for the uneducated peasant dialog.
