This is a super gory, blood drenched lust fest in the way only Takao Nakano could pull off. The lighting, framing and editing is spot-on; and the monster is cute, horrible and lovely. You just cant beat takao nakano when it comes to originality, and this sure is a lot safer and cheaper than illegal drugs. Can't say enough good things about this film, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I have admired this man's work for ages but he really pulls out all the cards for this little number. Maybe not quite as hallucinogenic as, say, "Exorcisters", but he really shows off his artistic sensiblities with amazing vision. Another Nakano Takao classic!!! :)
