Bullet In The Head (product link) Action/Adventure / War Quite possibly one of the most disturbing movies I've ever seen. A very intense movie with powerful performances from the entire main cast--not to mention the great action scenes. This movie will stay with me for a long time.

You are entirely right. Each character's humanity was firmly established, so the plot adds up to much more than a thriller.
Five Fingers Of Death (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This movie has some of the best fight scenes you'll ever see in any film of its kind. This is one I can watch over and over again.
Oldboy (product link) Thriller / Action/Adventure One of the greatest cinematic achievements of the past 20 years. Yes, really. If you haven't seen it, stop now and go find a copy.
Crime Story (product link) Action/Adventure / Crime A slightly darker turn for Jackie Chan, this movie really racks up some tension along with the amazing action. It's a must-see!
Fearless [2006] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure The only reason I won't give this 5 stars is because "Hero" and "Fist Of Legend" come in just a little higher for me. The director's cut of the movie is the one you want to see, as a crucial subplot to the film was left out of the American cut. Michelle Yeoh puts on a fantastic performance, as of course does Jet Li. Terrific story and action!!

A great flick, but Michelle Yeoh's 3 minute cameo is hardly "a fantastic performance".
Drunken Master 2 (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Nothing more to be said that hasn't already been: it's likely Jackie Chan's finest hour and it's a non-stop ride all the way to the end. I can watch this over and over and over. If you can see it in its original, uncut form with the original soundtrack, it's just amazing.
Who Am I? (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Not Jackie's best, but it's still fun. The fight on the roof towards the end is worth the viewing alone.
Hard Boiled (product link) Action/Adventure / Bullet Ballet The greatest action movie ever made, period. The last 30 minutes alone beat anything that's ever come before it (that includes "Die Hard"--no disrespect), and few have come close since. The screenplay isn't quite as tight as "The Killer", but the story still holds together. You owe it to yourself if you haven't seen it yet.
So Close (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts Fantastic! The film that the Charlie's Angels movies wanted to be, but just weren't good enough. Great action and story.
