Wing Chun (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure If you enjoy martial arts action, this film is a must-see! In addition, the plot and story are developed enough to support the reason why you would watch the film: martial arts fighting sequences! You would not think it'd have much character development, but this film does, and it does not just focus on the main characters so that is a plus.
The Wing Chun fighting display is great too. The martial arts director really focused on capturing the essence of the Wing Chun system. My suggestion is if you have seen the English version, watch the HK version with subtitles, it is a riot; the humor always gets lost in the translation.
Warriors Two (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure A classic Sammo film! The film has drama, humor, and tragedy with, of course, great martial fighting scenes depicting the Wing Chun system. Unlike most Wing Chun movies, this movie covers most of the system for training: forms, chi sao, wooden dummy, and weapons (staff and butter swords). If you haven't seen this film, see it! If you study Wing Chun, buy it! It's great!
