The story is pretty conventional, but the action is outstanding. I like this film very much.
Invincible One (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This is a great movie and it reminds me of "The Shaolin Avengers". There are a lot of similarities. The kung fu is great. My teacher commented on how they were actually using real techniques.
Fu Sheng is always a wonder to watch. He's so beautiful.

The role was perfect for Fu Sheng, and his performance is extremely good.
Boxer Rebellion (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Great film. It reminds me of how hard China had it during the Boxer Rebelion. There are some brutal scenes that are hard to watch, but the kung fu is superb.

Some criticize this film for its sinocentric point of view: Come on! It's a Chinese film, the Chinese look good, and this may not be far from the truth. I like it very much.
The Shaolin Avengers [1976] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure I had to watch this movie twice to figure out what was going on. The movie is told through flashbacks. The plot and storyline are great, and of course Fu Sheng is an awesome actor. Well worth watching.

Fu Sheng and Chi Kwan Chun both give excellent performances.
Marco Polo (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure It took years to find this movie! I knew it as "The Four Assassins", so when it became available on HKFlix, I bought it right away. I love this movie and wanted to hear it in its original Chinese language, so I bought a second copy. It's a good thing my DVD player is region free because now I can enjoy this film more fully.
The Brave Archer 3 (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This film isn't as good as parts 1 and 2, but it's still worth watching. There are more flashbacks in this movie and not as much kung fu action.
The Brave Archer And His Mate (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure At first I was disappointed because Fu Sheng wasn't the leading actor, though Philip K. is great too. But Fu Sheng is in the movie, and of course I loved it from that point on.

Danny The Dog (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Jet Li is fantastic in this movie. He makes me believe that he is Danny, the man treated like a dog. He shows his brilliant martial arts fighting skills. Though quite brutal to watch, it's fascinating all the same.
Invincible Shaolin (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This is one of my favorite martial arts movies of all time. All of the actors play their roles to the fullest, and the kung fu is mesmerizing. I love watching this movie.
Fearless [2006] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This is a fantastic piece of art. The entire movie captivates from begining to end with Jet Li giving another award-winning performance. Great movie.
Fulltime Killer (product link) Bullet Ballet / Action/Adventure This is one of my favorite Andy Lau films. There isn't a whole lot of kung fu used in this movie; mostly guns of course, but it is well worth watching.
Heroes Shed No Tears [1980] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Fu Sheng is fantastic in this film. It's filled with non-stop action. It also has a good plot. This is well worth watching.
