The Holy Virgin Versus The Evil Dead (product link) Erotica / Martial Arts A completely insane, entertaining movie with a moon monster, kung fu, an army of villians armed with automatic weapons; and last, but not least, a lot of very attractive undressed women. A welcome addition to my collection.
Picking Up Girl (product link) Erotica / Drama There isn't much of a plot in this category 3 Hong Kong film, but the girls are far more attractive than normal and you get to see A LOT more of them than normal. The acting also seems to be a notch higher than usual. Worth watching.
Immortal Love (product link) Erotica / Ghost Very well done Japanese Ghost/Erotic movie, with more emphasis on story and plot than the erotic element. Very good acting, great photography, and based on a classic Japanese story that has been filmed several times. This is probably the best version
Hunting Evil Spirit (product link) Erotica / Drama The plot, such as it is, which at times makes no sense at all, involves a man who goes to see a wiizard and gets the power to have his spirit leave his body so he can molest a few very very attractive women. If you want to see some very attractive very nude women, this is worth a look.
Twenty-Four Eyes (product link) Drama / War A classic. A must see fron anyone anywhere that loves movies. It's the story of a teacher in a poor school in Japan and flollows her life and the lives of her twelve students from 1928 to 1948 and their frequently tragic situations. Incredibly moving.
Caged Women (product link) Erotica / Thriller The title tells the plot. The dubbing is bad, acting fair, but the women are beautiful, and if that is what your're looking for then check this one out.
Kapop (product link) Erotica / Thriller This is a Thai ghost story that doesn't make a lot of sense, but it has several very pretty women with their clothes o ff alot, and makes this a pleasure to watch.
The Story Of O 2 (product link) Erotica / Romance Not a sequel to the original "Story Of O", but deals with the same subject matter (B/D, S/M). Takes too long for the story to get going, but the women are beautiful.
The School Teacher (product link) Comedy / Romance A funny Italian comedy and a must-see (and must-own) for any Edwige Fenech fan. This very popular, spicy film spawned two sequels.
Fenech tutors a young teenage boy who, like many teenagers, has mainly girls on his mind, and the voluptuous Fenech in particular.
Sex And Zen (product link) Erotica / Comedy A Chinese scholar believes knowledge can be gained by numerous sexual encounters. The very high level of the production, direction, photography, and acting puts this film on the level of the classic "Emmanuelle" films of the mid seventies, and is too good to be considered a typical category 3 film. A must see.

I think you are essentially correct. This is a classic movie, and I like the two sequels as well, but the original is usually best.
Girls Without Tomorrow [1992] (product link) Drama This is about the lives of five Hong Kong prostitutes circa 1990. Some good performances and, at times, a somewhat realistic look at their experiences make this a decent melodrama (my girlfriend cried a little near the end). The 1988 version is better though.
Caligula Reincarnated As Hitler! (product link) Horror / Erotica This is probably the best of the Italian German prison camp movies made in the 1970's. It had the highest budget and the best acting and plot (relatively speaking). A German officer becomes obsessed with one of the prisoners and does anything he can to break her to his will. The girls are beautiful and there is a lot of nudity, but the film is so nasty, violent and realistic that there is nothing stimulating or erotic. For fans of this genre though it is a must see.
Vietnamese Lady (product link) Erotica / Drama An older man is attracted to and asks a much younger woman to be his mistress. She refuses at first; but her father becomes ill, and she needs money to take care of him, so she accepts. She later meets a man closer to her age, and the older man reluctantly lets her go. He then realizes he had actually ended up in love with her. She finds out the younger man is a jerk, that realizes she to was in love with the man she left. It ends happily.
The plot is simple, the acting adequate, and the are a lot of softcore sex scenes with some beautiful Asian women. Recommended. If not for the sex scenes it would actually be a fair date film.
Starlets For Sale (product link) Erotica / Drama Hong Kong starlets need extra money and earn it on the side as prostitutes. It makes the news when finally discovered, there is a scandal; and in the end the women realize that no matter how great their need, what they did was wrong. This is a very well made Shaw Brothers film with great color and photography and good acting, and was a big hit the year it was released. It is sad and tragic at times, but also, particularly at the end, very touching. An added bonus is a lot of nudity from some very beautiful women. It's almost a crime it is only avalible on VCD [at the time of this writing]. If it is ever put on DVD I'm buying that also. Very recommended. You could also probably watch this with a significant other.
Hidden Desire (product link) Erotica / Drama This is actually a better than average category 3 film with some very beautiful women frequently undressed, and adequate acting. I recommend this film.

Good drama, touching and tragic--particulary one sequence that is almost to tragic to watch. As usual a very good performance by Maggie Cheung. NOT a category 3 film. Just watch, a pretty good film.
Chinese Erotic Ghost Story (product link) Erotica / Fantasy A fair period/comedy/ghost category 3 movie. Adequate acting and some very pretty women, frequently undressed. Some good comedy moments.
Shogun's Joy Of Torture (product link) Horror / Erotica A disturbing Japanese "pink" film. The women are beautiful but the torture scenes are harrowing. The ending torture chamber sequence is incredible.
Angel Delight (product link) Erotica Some very attractive women in a fair catagory 3 film. If it had had a decent budget, my rating would have been higher. The acting and action are above average.
Fairy, Ghost, Vixen (product link) Drama / Ghost Three stories about encounters with a fairy, a ghost and a "vixen" (actually a jealous goddess). Well acted, good writing with a little something to say. Definitely worth watching.
My Dream Boat (product link) Drama / Romance Above average Shaw Brothers melodrama about several friends and the tragedy that a love triangle causes. Well acted, great color and photography. A good "chick flick", but guys might have some trouble geting through it (my date loved it, but it was a little tough going for me).
Sensual Pleasures (product link) Erotica / Drama Pretty good Shaw Brothers adult comedy. There are three different stories with sex being a factor in all three. A great deal of the humor does come across. This was a pleasant surprise as humor is often lost from one culture to another. The women are also beautiful to see and you see a lot of them.
