The Tai Chi Master [1993] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure The Tai Chi Master (Twin Warriors) is a true Jet Li classic. The martial arts is exceptional. The ending is phenomenal! Don't miss this one!
The One Armed Boxer (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Chinese professionals (One-Armed Boxer) is a serious old-school flick. I did watch it on the big screen about 30 or so years ago. I had forgotten about it! A friend of mine is a 3rd degree Black-Belt (Goshi-Shun). We are in the process of reviving our collections. He reminded me of this one and I couldn't believe I had forgotten. See it and own it!
Dance Of The Drunk Mantis (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Dance of the Drunken Mantis is another one of those kung-fu flicks that a serious collector MUST have in his/her collection.
Bottom line... Hwang-Jang-Lee (rubber legs) and Sam Seed are stellar martial artists. Don't forget the small but memorable part Linda Lin Ying plays. She's a class act! Now there are a few parts where the comedy makes this flick drag. However, don't let that deter you from checking this one out!
