Legend Of The Wolf (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts Oh man this was bad well not to bad but one of Donnie Yens worst films I've ever seen.
The choreography is bad most of is just one hit punches or kicks whenever he gets into big brawls which happens a few times.
Other times the camera either moves to fast or is to close up to really see the fighting. Others times its to dark like the start of the film.
There is one cool scene where he takes on this guy who uses a chain but its short. They tried to make this movie look violent but didn't pull it off well.
The movie gets very boring for about 15-20mins near the middle close to the end. Bad camera work, poor choreography which was ruined due to the camera work, average acting. A bigger budget could have helped this movie also the editing work.
See this if your a die hard Donnie Yen if not there's plenty of other Donnie Yen movies that are better then this.

There may be good fighting going on, but the camera doesn't pick it up.
yes you're right i would class myself a big donnie yen fan but this film sucks the choreography in this film is the worst i have ever seen from donnie yen.
Ideas makes movies successful, not necessarily $! Yen had an idea and made it work, telling a great story. And just so you know, the action was an awesome show of rising standards for Donnie Yen in his later career. What the hell movie were you watching?
One of the all-time best kung fu movies ever. If you don't have this movie in your martial arts movie collection, then your collection rides the short bus and requires guidance. This is arguably Jackie, Sammo and both Yuens' best collaboration ever, packing high energy superbly choreographed fight scenes with memorable performances from the majority of the main cast. A lot of people believe that the Jackie vs. Benny "The Jet" fight in "Wheels On Meals" is their best on-screen match-up. They're wrong. Their match up in "Dragons Forever" was their best throwdown and incorporated a higher level of more technical combinations with better shots of the larger and more flamboyant techniques. If you don't have it, you must obtain it some way if there is ever hope to complete your collection properly. Oh yeah, and watch for Benny "The Jet" kicking Yuen Biao in the dome with a 360 back kick off of a table that looks like it connects so harsh that it had to put someone in a damn coma. Tell your friends. Tip your waitresses. I'm out.

I'm not sure about the rankings of Jackie Chan's films, but this is a very good one.
I 100% agree that this is better than Wheels on Meals. The final scene in the factory is much better than the castle scene in WOM. Plus, I don't have to watch Jackie and Yuen sell hamburgers.
truly spoken. Wheels on Meals doesn't come close to Dragons Forever which is clearly a better movie with better fights. The Jackie Chan vs. Benny Urquidez fight scene is top notch (and in my opinion better than Wheels on Meals). The HKL version rocks.
New Police Story (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts This flick has one great stunt sequence, one good fight, and almost two hours of HK melodrama and Jackie Chan crying. Skip it.

lol I gave it a higher rating than you but I can appreciate your point of view :)
If one is expecting a continuation of the Police Story series, in either characters or style, this film is a huge letdown. Sometimes Jackie Chan just wants to prove he CAN act,: I liked it better than you did, but JC 'd be wise to stick within his genre
Dirty Tiger, Crazy Frog (product link) Martial Arts / Comedy This is a very enjoyable movie. Not quite up to "Odd Couple" standards, but this one definitely has its moments. Even Dean Shek is fun to watch in this one, and I usually hate his creepy roles.

An excellent funny movie. I'm surprised this movie hasn't received the remastered treatment. Good action featuring excellent work from Sammo Hung and Lau Kar Wing.
Invisible Target (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts I had high expectations for this movie, but unfortunately it fell flat. I thought the storyline was very contrived and corny. The characters were not engaging in the least, and I found myself not really caring what happened to them. Nicholas Tse and Shawn Yue did not put in convincing performances. Jaycee Chan may be the only of the three who actually put some emotion to his character.
Also, the action was mediocre at best. The fight scenes weren't explosive enough to compensate for the weak story. I found it frustrating to see Nicholas Tse and Shawn Yue open up the movie kicking a lot of butt then as soon as they meet Wu Jing and his gang they're unable to even remotely keep up.
This movie could've really used a cool plot twist or some clever elements, but unfortunately that only happens in one scene involving the guys after a fight. I don't recommend this movie at all.
I have to question your state of mind when watching this movie, perhaps your expectations were set way too high. Please get a legit copy of this movie and see it again. Definately near classic material. Remember, it's an action movie
Wow, I TOTALLY disagree. Even if you were let down by this film, I don't see how zero stars is reasonable. Just the action alone merits far more than that. Too bad you weren't able to enjoy it.
Invisible Target (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts Action-wise, excellent, almost a 5 out of 5. Jason Wu is great, but the story really let it down. Some bit of acting really give me the feeling of trying too hard. It could be a simple story, but they make it so difficult. If the movie was 90 minutes instead of 130 minites, it could be a classic. But the excellent action makes up for it. Two thumbs up for the action director, I think he coud be the next Yuen Wo Ping. Highly recommended!

This movie is a classic. The storyline is excellent. It has everything and was a very satisfying movie. It was the best HK action movie from last year.
My Young Auntie (product link) Martial Arts / Comedy Bad comedy, but it's only worth it for the finale, so it's not a must-have, but worth a viewing!

The comedy is quite dated, but some of it is fun, however this movie was released in 1980 and features some good fight scenes with the finale being the climax, definately a must have.
this movie features some tasty fight scenes, of course the plot is weak and some questionable rocket wielding stunts, but definately not a garbage movie
Drunken Master 2 (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Not as great as I was hoping. Absolutely love the original, however this movie was a bit of a disappointment. The story was a bit flimsy and does not showcase Jackie Chan as the superstar he is. Just watch the first movie and be happy with that.
