Bio: I am a kung fu movie nut. I don't know how to explain the way it feels to watch stars like Donnie Yen, Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Gordon Lui, Ti Lung, David Chiang, Moon Lee, Cynthia Khan, just kicking butt.
First Option (product link) Bullet Ballet / Action/Adventure It just sit right with me, this film, a mix of chinese and english spoken, the use of gender and cultural clashes, and as for the ex-usa soldiers, in the film, they are pretty uselesses as villians.

It isn't perfect, but there sure is alot of tight action in this one. Pretty solid effort from Wu Jing as a crazy thug.

Holy Flame Of The Martial World (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts Crazy wuxia film with cool special effects. When two evil clans join forces to rule the martial world, it is up to the brother and sister duo to stop the chaos. I would have rated the film 5 stars, but the humor at times was out of place for me.
Hitman [1998] (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts Little Eric babysits Jet Li, uses him as his man for assassinations, but Jet Li is not a good hitman. A funny action flick. I loved the cast, Eric is fun as usual, and Jet Li has all the moves.
The Winged Tiger (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This guy has it all: two women want him, he gets to kill David Chiang, and he flies around the screen with daggers in hand and hidden ones in his boots.
The Eunuch (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure I thought it was an all right swordplay flick, a good story to go with it. Could have gotten a higher rating if there was less use of magic and wires. I thought it was just a period piece.
Heroes Two (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts After the temple is burned down, Chen Kuan Tai and Alexander Fu Sheng team up to take out revenge on those evil Manchus.
Heroes Shed No Tears [1986] (product link) War / Drama Taking on the Thailand and Vietnam armies is Eddie Ko, a band of army misfits, his wife and son. The body count is high, eddie gets his eye lids sewn together, and there is a yank with hot chicks. Fun for all.
Heroes Shed No Tears [1980] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure An above average wuxia film starring Fu Sheng, with crazy costumes and swordplay action.
The Hell's Wind Staff (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Two cheeky kids against the man with the hell's wind staff. Full of staff hitting action.
Curry And Pepper (product link) Action/Adventure / Comedy A fun cop buddy film, the first two thirds of the movie are just humor, then the final section of the film is guns blazing action.
The Hand Of Death [1976] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure One of the first times you see Sammo and Jackie Chan on the screen together. You have to see this film just to see Sammo with crazy white buck teeth. The action is slow at times, but is worth watching.
Grand Master Of Death [Ground Zero] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Fu Sheng stars as a young man willing to rid the town of gangsters, even though the townsfolk don't believe in him. A classic storyline, with action to back it up.
Full Contact (product link) Action/Adventure / Crime A fantastic gun-play movie starring Chow Yun-Fat, Anthony Wong, and Simon Yam. Chow is betrayed by his best mate Anthony, as Anthony is easily pushed around by Simon. Chow Yun-Fat takes out revenge, for the life he missed.
Golden Swallow [1968] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Jimmy Wang Yu, Lo Lieh and Cheng Pei-Pei star in this romantic action/swordplay flick.
The Flying Guillotine (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure I just love the idea of quick silent assassins, running around beheading anyone needed to benefit the evil overlord.

Flash Point (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts Donnie Yen is a tireless cop out for justice. Fantastic movie with well developed characters and action to please any tired heart. A throwback to the 1990's, when Hong Kong was spitting out cool action flicks for fun.
Five Shaolin Masters (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure It is about revenge on the evil manchus after the Shaolin Temple is burnt to the ground.
Five Kung Fu Daredevil Heroes (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure A mix of well known stars of the kung fu era fight their way through this film. The film shows how all parts of Chinese society should work together for the Chinese nation, even if it is against the enemy within or the foreigners.
Five Fingers Of Death (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Lo Lieh is a man out for revenge after his master is killed. I love this film, even Lo Lieh's silly glowing hands at the end of the film.

Cheesy glowing hands, the theme from Ironsides, God I loved this one, when I saw it growing up! Classic!

The 7 Commandments Of Kung Fu (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure After you get over Lee Yi-Min playing the whining brat (man, I just wanted to jump into the TV and beat the stuffing out of him), there is some classic cool old school fighting. Mantis fist reigns in this film, as Lee looks to take out his father's killer.
Fantasy Mission Force (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Jimmy Wang Yu called in a few favors to get this all-star cast together for this mental/crazy film about war, pirates, ghosts, and greed. Watch for those who enjoy insanity.

Dragon Inn [1992] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure A remake of the King Hu classic. Not as classy as the original, even with the stars involved. Donnie Yen's talents were wasted as the white-faced evil goverment official.
