Challenge Of The Masters (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This film is a slight departure from the others from Shaws in that there's no revenge seeking. Very good Gordon Liu film, in which he plays Wong Fei Hung, the legendary healer, lion dancer, and martial artist. Very unique film, which shows forgiveness instead of killing to atone for a wrongdoing.
The Brave Archer (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure The beginning of the movie was pretty good, nice sets and fighting. The movie kind of goes downhill from there. If the director was trying to confuse the viewer, he did a good job. The storyline jumps all over the place, and when the film ended I was left wondering what actually happened and what the point of the story was. But the sets and costumes were cool.
The Avenging Eagle (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Another fantastic movie from Sun Chien. The screen pairing of Ti Lung and Fu Sheng was pure genius. The fight scenes were a bit above the norm, and the sets and costumes were, as always, top notch.
