It would've been 5 stars if there had been actual nudity. But being that it's based on a video game--which I did not know--you get what you can get.
I found the movie to be absolutely hilarious, with some great fight choreography. Jaime Pressly was stunning, funny as hell, and just an overall "wow". Casting Kevin Nash as her father was brilliant. The only weak spot in casting I felt was Eric Roberts. He's better than this performance and should've showed it. Sarah, Holly, Devon, and Natassia all were fantastic. There are US and Korean (I think) versions out there now, so you can choose your guilty pleasure.
The basic premise is this: fight and look good doing it. Anyone for bikini volleyball while we're at it? Basically "Bloodsport"-type combat, only co-ed. Enjoy. |
