| SUPPORT RESPONSIBLE BUSINESSES! (75 views) | AUTHOR / DATE |
| I just read this article in our local paper and wanted to share it, even though it's perhaps a bit off topic here:
The price is high when taste comes first
I think it's important to support businesses that go the extra mile to provide a good service, and treat their customers and employees right.
It's harder than most people think to run a business that does all those "behind the scenes" things right--paying their employees well, buying environmentally responsible products, creating a nurturing work environment--since these things are often expensive, but most customers never see them. It's often more profitable, unfortunately, to just slash all your costs down to the bone and throw the phrase "free shipping" in everyone's face constantly.
At HKFlix we have always gone the extra mile to be a responsible business in all aspects of our operations--those visible and invisible to the customer. We very much appreciate our loyal customers and hope that you'll help us spread the word about the cool products and services we have on offer here! :)

| #2 | *slow clap* HKFlix.com is my favorite online retailer of any kind of products. I've pimped out your site/customer service to friends or on messageboards many times. | TheDenizen 9/1/2009 9:14 AM |

| #4 | I agree 100% that HKFlix is my favorite online retailer for any items! I have always maintained the "winners" of the online companies would be those who had excellent customer service. Some folks think I receive money or goods for my enthusiasm but it is so important to let people know the best place to buy "specialty" films.Yes they have the real movies (unedited) when you usually can't find them elsewhere but what really makes them special is the PEOPLE!I was positively thrilled when the movie comparison search engine was developed. I hated having six windows (or more) trying to figure out which version of a movie I wanted. Soooo much better. All you ladies and gentlemen do an excellent job! | Cinema! 9/1/2009 2:02 PM |
| #5 | Hey, thanks! That feature was my brainchild, so I'm glad you find it useful! :) | Choco 9/1/2009 2:23 PM |
| #6 | Believe me, I'm very busy as a law officer but I take time to tell others about HKFLIX! The people and the outstanding service is what keeps the customer coming back for more. In the case of HKFLIX you all perform above and beyond the call of duty! Thankyou! | Sgt. T 9/8/2009 7:36 PM |
| #7 | Choco, you may not realize how important the movie comparison search engine is. It's infuriating to grasp blindly, select an inferior version, and realize which one should have chosen - all before even receiving the package. I was burned by an HKFlix competitor whose name will remain unsaid when SPL first became available a couple of years ago. I didn't know it at the time, but the Mainland China version is severely redacted (leaving out the conclusion of the last fight and completely changing the payoff). I don't necessarily think the retailer had bad intentions: It just didn't take due care to know what it was selling. When I acquired the uncut version, then I could appreciate a masterpiece, rather than an above-average potboiler. There are many titles I would have forgone if I had not been able to run a comparison at HKFlix. Retailers change their websites frequently. Don't change this unless you're sure it can be improved. | Jeffrey Frawley 10/22/2009 5:18 AM |
