| It sucks. A few months ago the Canadian Dollar was trading almost at par with US Dollars (mostly because the US Dollar was weak at the time). It was a great time for ordering DVDs from the USA. I got tons of deals on some obscure DVDs from hkflix.
But now that the government has bailed out the banks and the US dollar is improving again, the Canadian exchange rate has gone into the toilet. There's awesome DVDs out that I want to get, but I can't afford to pay 30% exchange.
I don't know what anyone can do about it (I'm just venting), but if any of you know any bankers, give 'em a Gordon Liu-style hurtin' courtesy of TheDenizen.

| #2 | Well, for what it's worth, the ACTUAL value of the dollar is still in the toilet. I don't know where they get this imaginary value that they use to compare it to other currencies, but the real fact is that a dollar doesn't buy crap anymore, even in the USA.
Anyway, sorry to hear your plight. We'll definitely be missing your business in the meantime! :) | Choco
