ALL ABOUT THE JVC RX-DV31SL The JVC RX-DV31SL is a combination Progressive Scan DVD Player/Receiver that offers incredible versatility, especially after our modifications. The 100 watt X 5 receiver is feature packed, with Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Pro Logic II surround decoders. The full-function DVD player is a progressive scan unit, and is also compatible with DVD-Audio discs. This unit includes bountiful convenience features, including Smart Speaker Setup to simplify the initial setup to your surround system, and Audio position to automatically adjust the subwoofer output to accommodate whether you are listening to a CD or taking advantage of the state-of-the-art surround sound processing available while watching a DVD. The RX-DV31SL is the perfect integrated receiver to use as the hub of any home theater system. We've modified this unit via hardware and firmware to play any region DVD.
