ALL ABOUT THE JVC SRDVD-100U
The JVC SRDVD-100U is a highly unique professional networked DVD player that can play back high definition recordings that are either burned on DVDs, or streamed from an attached computer.
The SRDVD-100U is, by far, our most compatible DVD player in terms of file formats supported. It is compatible with the popular HDV, DivX® HD and WMV9 HD file formats, among others. For a complete compatibility chart of formats supported, please view the table below.
After attaching the player to a computer via a standard Ethernet (RJ-45) jack, remote files on the network can be played back through the SRDVD-100U without the need for a recorded DVD. Software is provided with the deck for use with Windows or Mac OSX 10.3 computers.
The player will upconvert DVDs to HD for output through the DVI port, and will convert PAL to NTSC. Using a simple remote code, you can play back DVDs from any region.
Other notable features of the SRDVD-100U is its front panel USB port (for viewing files on hard drives and memory sticks), and ability to process JPEG images up to 2048x1532 resolution. It also features a auto-play system for unattended operation (designed for use in stores, kiosks and displays).
