ALL ABOUT THE DP-4000 MACROBLOCKER
The Macroblocker DP-4000 is the highest quality copy protection disabler available today. Professionally custom-made in the USA, it outperforms Sima, the DP-1000, and the Gold Box. Unlike competing products, the DP-4000 supports progressive scan, and utilizes component video input for highest possible quality conversion, and has composite, s-video, and component video output. Lower quality units that have only composite or S-Video inputs typically create digital artifacts near the edges of the picture. Allowing for maximum flexibility, the DP-4000 does enable you to feed video in through composite or S-Video. The DP-4000 builds upon the previous DP-3000 by incorporating progressive scan support. Many projection TVs are susceptible to interference from copy protection signals encoded on DVDs. This unit screens out these signals from progressive scan signals. This device is also perfect for enabling you to copy material from your existing cable and satellite DVRs to your DVD recorder. The DP-4000 will also support future DVD Recorders that accept progressive scan signals.

WARRANTY:
1 year replacement warranty. Evidence of abuse voids this warranty. "Abuse" encompasses dropping the unit, disassembling the unit, spilling liquids on it, not plugging it into a decent surge protector, etc.
