ALL ABOUT THE PANASONIC DVDS77S The Panasonic DVDS77S supports 720p and 1080i upconvert through its HDMI connection. It also supports multi-channel DVD-Audio, and HighMAT compatibility for enhanced interoperability with personal computers. It supports a variety of media types including DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, HDCD, video and audio CD, CD-R, CD-RW, WMA, MP3 and JPEG formats. We've expertly modified this unit via hardware and firmware to play any region DVD. This region-free DVD player can play PAL and NTSC DVDs, but it does not have a built in converter, so you will need a multi-system monitor/TV to be able to play both PAL and NTSC DVDs. For example, if you live in the USA, you will only be able to view PAL Region-2 DVDs from Europe if your monitor/TV can display a PAL signal.
